View from the Long Mynd
This square canvas depiction of the south Shropshire hills (Caer Caradoc and the Lawley, with the Wrekin in the distance) seen from the Long Mynd was commissioned by a group of 10 or so for the 50th birthday of a friend who dearly loves the area and has completed the gruelling 50 mile Longmynd Hike multiple times. What an awesome, original and enduring gift!
The Mynd's famous heather dominates the foreground as the viewer gazes out over the undulating, majestic, sun-soaked hills behind.
Beautifully framed by Callaghan's in a tray frame, custom painted in Farrow and Ball Cornforth White.
